I guess I don't update enough!

I am truly trying to make an effort at blogging. I can't use school as an excuse anymore (since I graduated almost a month ago). But that doesn't mean that life isn't just as hectic as always. My boys are definitely my pride and joy. Damen will be starting school this next season and I am sure Athan will be lost without him. I am so blessed to have these boys!!! It honestly doesn't seem like it has almost been five years since I was introduced to the world of motherhood. Since graduation, I have been asked multiple times, "What are your plans?" I am sorry to say that I am not planning anything too exciting. I think I will stay in Payson and take the contract for a total of 4 years and buy a house. With my boys growing, I really feel like I should give my family a home to call their own. For now, I am studying to pass the NCLEX and become an official RN. After that, I am just going to enjoy the summer, my family's new found ability to spend time with me and...LIFE. After all, life is too short to not take a step back and just focus on enjoying it. The pictures I posted are just some more random photos of the boys and the people that make life so enjoyable.

The pictures that I've posted only tell a very small portion of the story. In the time since I decided to create this blog, there has been so much that has happened. Our family has moved, welcomed a new nephew, started a new career, and a new job, battled illness, seen family and friends marry and divorce, grieved over loved ones, lost pets, but over all, grown closer as a family!! As I near graduation(sometime between May 5-12) and prepare to close a huge chapter in my life, I can't help but remember all the people and experiences that have brought me to where I am. I am so grateful to all my family that was always so generous with watching my boys and being there for them while I had to devote myself to school and work. Thank you to my friends, colleagues and girls at school who have encouraged me when I thought it was all too much. I feel like if it weren't for all experiences that myself and my family endured, I couldn't have become the mother, wife, daughter, sister, student, friend and nurse that i am today. Thank you to everyone that has helped me grow through this time!!

Some pictures to catch everyone up over the last 1 1/2 years!!!!

I decided to start out updating our blog with an assortment of pictures from over the last year and a half since my boys have grown so much since the last pictures were posted. I hope you enjoy the assortment!!!

Here are some of the more recent photos of the boys. Our goal for this weekend is to take some good quality pictures and maybe even have a few of ourselves! Until then, this is as good as it gets.

I'm trying this blog thing

Although I wont be able to keep up on our blog very well, I love the way others do! So lets see if we can at least give everyone we love that does not see our family as much as they like, to see us via computer. Here goes...
